Hi

Jun 29, 2009 04:03

I am considering learning Korean @ Korea. *be it a short course or for long term.
I need comments/advices on which Uni is better and the price ranges etc.
I tried googling but I believe its always better to hear from someone with personal experiences!

TIA!

If you're in college, I would recommend checking with your adviser to see if your school offers any programs over there. If not, ask if they have a partnership with another school that would allow you to do that. I think Fairfield University will allow students from other schools to go on their trips abroad.

Oh... well... Seoul National is supposed to be the best, but if you really want to be around a mass amount of people, look at anything in Hongdae. Otherwise, if you're open to it... the University of Southern California and Southwestern University, both in Los Angeles, are near Koreatown. *LA has the largest Korean population outside of the Korean Peninsula and Koreatown would almost have you thinking you're in Korea, as that's the dominant language in that area*

Or you could come here and just live since I've heard of a couple places offering classes to foreigners for cheap or for free.
Your first step is getting over here anyway ;D
