Today it was 74 degrees in VA. On December 1st. I have my windows open and am wearing a tank-top. It's been in the 60's and 70's here since Thanksgiving. Even with a little rain and wind earlier today, it turned beautiful and sunny this afternoon. It's like someone shipped Hawaii's weather to Virginia. So, with a measly 3 precincts that continue to not report in from VA, Webb (D) has about an 8,000 vote lead and it's pretty safe to say that he will be our next Senator. Ted and I voted this morning. Virginia is a key toss-up state in the Senate race, so it felt important this time. I would have voted anyway, because I think voting itself is important, but not every time feels like it really matters. This time did.
