Fated - Alternate Ending

So, I have spent days going through chapters of Fated and cleaning up bad grammar, punctuation and terrible spelling. Wow, what a difference 10 years makes. I think I have 2 chapters left and it's done but I don't love it. I have this unreasonable desire to rewrite it - right from the beginning. haha, I had a lot of people write me a review while they were crying. Quite a few people thanked me and cursed me in the same breath. lol. I actually put a disclaimer in the story description to say "you will probably cry" because I really wanted to warn people. hahaha.

I would never ever kill Kakashi again. It was too hard.

As I was writing the alternate ending, I was thinking I could just kill them both, or Sakura, or Genma. It would all work.

That makes sense to post it as a stand alone with a disclaimer. I am tempted to rewrite but it would take forever. I hope to have the alt end done soon.

Oh, to post it as stand alone on ff.net is also a great idea! I'd love it!

Yeah, I think I probably will. It's a hard read so it would be nice for people to have the option of a nicer ending - a happy one.

I'd love it if you post these 2-3 chapters as an alternative ending to the story but here on lj instead of ff.net. So it won't be cofusing.
Btw, you've mentioned you have plans to finish Coffee Shop and continue this other KakaSaku story you started here. Do you still plan it?
I'm so waiting for these two! ^-^

I worried that no one would see it here. I can't put a link on my profile at ffnet so I suppose it makes more sense to just post it there and put a note on the description. I'll post it in one shot so that it's not confusing as chapters come up. It's sort of the 10 year anniversary of that story so I could put it up as a little anniversary thing ( ... )

Yes, I think it's great idea to post it as a stand alone on ff.net. You are right that way more people will have a chance to read it. So go for it girl!
As for the other stories I like how you plan to make go about them. And I hope you will get your muse back on Coffee Shop. I definitely want to see it completed. And the dirty one as well if you plan to make some changes and rewrite it I'm all for it. But I like you idea about the drifting apart and than starting all over again after some years and after working through the past issues. Especially with Sakura having a little kid. ^_^
I wish you good luck and a lot of inspiration, dear. I really love your writing and following your work.

Oh my god! It feels like Christmas! My dream is coming true! What good news that you're writing an alternate ending! Kakashi and Sakura both deserve it hehehe. I'm surprised the story made you cry since you're the one who wrote it, but then again it truly is a heartbreaking ending and really... who could keep their eyes dry.... It only means you've surpassed yourself!! I remember I've been feeling sad for days..actually it still hurts ... I think posting it as a one shot on ff is a great idea. With a description that one should read the mean story first. And maybe put on the main story when the alternate ending starts 👍 I think more people would see it on ff too. Albeit, I think your lj is also being followed by many people... Good luck finishing the story, Leafy!! I can't wait, ieeeee!! So happy already!!! XD I could dance!!

Turned out to be 3 chapters long. I'm almost done. I'm just finishing up the last half chapter and then I can post it. I suppose it's the ending everyone wanted for them and I've felt guilty for 10 years about it. I've had my ass kicked in reviews so many times and lots of people crying while they write. lol.

I suppose that was the point of the story.

I don't think there are too many people here at LJ anymore tbh. I was thinking of posting here but there isn't many people who come around - just a few.

I'm hoping maybe to post today or tomorrow. Last chapter is giving me grief.
