Ugh, and spring is an especially brutal time to do that, too.

Meh, it's something I've gotten used to. People see something green, and they want to replace it with processed wood structures, and concrete, and steel.

I figure if you can't have something natural, have something that you helped make. You should ask the landlord if you can design the fence--if you can make it beautiful or something.
