Wow. So they really voted to legalize medical rape and medical malpractice. I was hoping the veto wouldn't get overturned. Hopefully two things will happen: 1) no doctor in their right mind will follow the law, and 2) this will make it to the Supreme Court and be struck down, (assuming Chief Justice Roberts and others don't go back on their assertion that Roe v. Wade, right to privacy, etc. is settled law.)

It shouldn't make it pass the OK Supreme Court, but we'll have to see.

This just makes me so angry. People need to just stay the fuck out of women's uteri.

I love the quotation at the end from the majority leader, particularly the unbelievably intelligent and thoughtful language of "and arrest bad people".

And we're not going to "cure" cancer. We can get better at detecting it. We can screen out genes that we know can cause it, but we will not be able to stop genes from mutating altogether.

Even a pro-lifer like me knows how wrong it is to lie to women about the health of their baby. That is wrong on SO many levels. I can't believe anyone would be okay with that. Idiots.
