I like reading other peoples opinions on albums, because everyone is different! :D I mean, i keep going back to INSIDE BEAST (and i nearly accidently sung it down the phone to someone at work LOL oops)

I agree with most of this though :O Although, with FADELESS, FORBIDDEN BEAVER got me the most :P and Last Heaven, I said before I heard it that Gazette havent released a ballad that has grasped me since Without A Trace, because that one is ,....something sort of a marvel for me!

REDO was less of a koda kumi song than i thought, but jfc, the beginning sounds like a reject pile kumi song >___> not that thats a bad thing, (it actually feeds my Ruki x Kumi fetish :P)

(Also i was wondering if it was alright to add you :P we've spoke a bit in the comms! :D And yea.... /creeper)

It's interesting right? :D I feel much more free to do this with this album than with Division, since I absolutely love this one! (It was so hard to read how people loved songs on Division that I couldn't, no matter how much I wanted to. It made me sad.) LOL I showed the PV to Inside Beast to my mum this afternoon, and I caught her nodding along to the beat, and she had a big smile on her face afterwards. She liked it! LOL (She knows I'm into BDSM, so she found it amusing that the GazettE would feed those fantasies ( ... )

Well then... I love this review, and I think you hit each of them on the fucking head!

I've been asked to do a review.... but....... I think anything I write will be just sub-par to this. I couldn't capture this album more perfectly than you have here. Bravo, really.

GUH They just BLEW ME AWAY with this album! I still can't even!

Though I do miss Ruki's vocals from their early early days, I was kinda wishing he would bring them back, but honestly I don't think he can hit those octaves anymore. XD

Hey, you should totally do a review of your own!!! :D It's fun, and we're not comparing experiences and flailings here! LOL Squee is squee, and we need more of it in the world! :D

It's really amazing, isn't it? I didn't know I could possibly love this band even more!!!! o.o

I think the problem with his old way of singing is that it was slowly destroying his vocal chords. So, now that he has a voice coach, he can safely growl and scream, without doing damage. :)

Your take is really interesting. My favorite is also Fadeless--I can't stop listening to it!

Fadeless is so good! :D But I think right now my absolute fav from this album is The Stupid Tiny Insect. :D I can't stop listening to it!

Hahah! Good! I'm just so used to breaking out in hives and getting stomach pains from jazz that even the thought of it as a music style makes me nervous. So, I prefer to not think about it, and just enjoy the song. *grin*

Oh yay!!! :D Yessssssss! It's so good! I was so disappointed in myself that I couldn't love Division that I was super nervous about this release... and I adore it!!! :D I'm so happy! (But on this album they've gone back to merging it with the rest of the music, not just slapping it on top of everything else! So I'm good with it now! But then again, I'm one of the weird people who love Toxic. LOL)

Mmm, the grunting is sexy!!! And Ruki's voice is amazing. :D

The BDSM is super cool, right?! :D But I also like the whole concept of it! The duality, the things we hide... Fashion designers over the world will be amazed at how popular huge polka dot patterns suddenly became! LOL

Finally read this, since I finally listened to it and am now in the "HOLY HELL I AM BLOWN AWAY" stage. It is an astonishing album. You're right that it harkens back to their past - I caught elements in there that reminded me of DIM, of Stacked Rubbish, and even of their later-period indie work. And yet, it is all so mature - it is definitely a work by today's GazettE, a band that has been working together for a decade plus ( ... )
