"I've seen Detroit without even realizing it, either! " this made me LOL. It may be small, but it's just as beautiful. (I was married there). Where do you live, if you don't mind my asking?

I live in the Upper Peninsula [I'm a Yooper :)]! Right on Lake Superior. However, I'm always downstate for stuff. Dad is really active in Masons, and he mentioned that the Detroit Masonic Building is like right across the street from the LDS Temple...well heck!

Wow, they're beautiful!!! I'm jealous. The only Temple I've seen in person is the DC Temple (which, btw, the is most beautiful one there is).

I'm glad you took my advice (I think it was my advice, at least) and mosied on over here. It's a great community. I should be able to post some more DC pics soon, since I'll be up there in a few weeks to take out my endowments.

Hey! I commented to someone else...I'm more than likely taking my endowments out in DC, too! :) Not until I get my mission call in June though. But sweet! :) It IS gorgeous! My parents got sealed there. :)

Oh, and I also forgot to say how cute it is that you caught a wedding in that one picture from the top floor of the Joseph Smith building!

I love the Logan temple too! At night, when it's all lit up, the domes at the top glow green. It's cool.

they are SO beautiful.
i can't wait to see more.
or even to go out west again so every ten miles i can breathe in the night time glow of the temples! :)

I know that I am very lucky. I can drive about 3 blocks from my house to the top of a hill, and see 3 temples at once. There have been 3 announcements for new temples in the Salt Lake area, so soon that will mean I will be able to see 6! It's amazing to me.
