Stop this anti-social friends only weblog bullshit. Here's why:

• When anybody can read it, you have to think before hitting "Update," thus I have less crap to wade through when I try to recall weekend silliness or somesuch on your journal.
• I can link to it.
• If you're using a protected entry to talk behind somebody's back, just don't do it. It's

* I can link to it. - Part of me thinks this may be your main complaint. If that is the case, ask me to un-friend-only it before posting something assy like this.
* If you're using a protected entry to talk behind somebody's back, just don't do it. It's immature, you're not guaranteeing that they won't see it ever, and you might regret it later. Plus, people will just see you as an obnoxious ass with nothing more interesting to write than insults. - I can't think of a specific time when I was guilty of this, but I'm sure it's happened before. In which case I believe making a post friends-only is certainly acceptable. The maturity of the post is something you have no control over as you are not the author.
