Russian Sherlock Holmes pendant.

My little tribute to the wonderful Russian adaptation of Sherlock Holmes (Приключения Шерлока Холмса и доктора Ватсона). It's even interactive!

For this one, I wanted a design specific to the series. A photo would've been the most direct way, but I tend not to wear photos of people very often (for instance, much as I love this pendant, it spends more time hanging over my desk than around my neck). I thought about just quoting lines in Russian, but I wanted something a little more image-based.

Then I hit on it:

If you've seen the series, this will look familiar. In fact, to get it I modified a few screencaps from the credits of "Знакомство." It's a random jumble of letters...or is it?

Fortunately there's a second panel in the back:

Flip it up and over to the front:

And now it reads "Х и В" (or in English, "H and W"). There you go, the opening credits in a nutshell.

The tile is 1.75" tall, not including the loops.

Mystery solved!
