What's going on with FF.net?

What the HELL, FF.net? Why, in all my stories (uploaded years ago), have every one of my double hyphens (which I use for dashes) been suddenly changed to single ones? Single hyphens mean something completely different! You can't just go and change someone's punctuation!

I sent support an e-mail. It means about 60 chapters' worth of broken punctuation. Has this happened to anyone else?
