My Orff Ensemble students are amazing.  Sure they talk (a lot) but they learn the music I need them to learn and play it well.  What more could I ask for?  Maybe less chatty kids :D

The highlight of my day?  The recorders for my 4th graders came in today.  Why is this the highlight?  Now they will stop asking me about them.  Literally, EVERY 4th grader I have passed in the hall or has walked by my room has asked me about them.... for over a week.  Apparently, I can control the mail and how fast things arrive :-P

Hehe. I love listening to this in the car.  I sing at the top of my lungs and play drums on my steering wheel.  I think this CD is coming to school with me tomorrow.  I'll need something to sing along with while I try to put some semblance of order to my classroom.

Day  10 A song that makes you fall asleep

The first time I heard this song was in Elementary Methods class.  Dr Ramsey played it for us and I had an 'aestetic' experience.  I felt so calm, so relaxed, so involved with the music.  It was crazy.  If I need to relax to fall asleep, this is what I put on the iPod.
