Oh the woes

The highlight of my day?  The recorders for my 4th graders came in today.  Why is this the highlight?  Now they will stop asking me about them.  Literally, EVERY 4th grader I have passed in the hall or has walked by my room has asked me about them.... for over a week.  Apparently, I can control the mail and how fast things arrive :-P

I really hate peas, too. Except if they're in something - as you do. :p Children being disrespectful in the store really annoys me - like when they're throwing a fit because they want a candy bar or something and the parents just let it continue forever :|

I love recorders. I own sopranino through tenor, but I've played up to a sub-bass. For a few years, I had an all-recorder ensemble. Most of us knew both soprano and alto fingerings, and we'd switch parts so we could all take a turn. It was such an absolute blast. I miss it, but I was down to one member besides myself. I had a few come in and give it a try, but no one wanted to commit.

Me too! All my music friends think I'm crazy. The only time I do not love recorders is the first 3wks of 4th graders learning to play. They haven't quite figured out not to blow so hard. :D

I own those four too :) My husband said he'd buy me a bass, so we'll see :)
