I know the feeling. I squeezed in 40 minutes of cardio this morning before my eyebrow waxing and now I'm shoving down food before heading out again... I was so tempted to skip the gym but I didn't. BEEFCAKE! *Ahem*
Well, I hope the pants help motivate you - you are so close to the dress size since really, a corset is going to take 2-4 inches off your waist anyway (depends how sturdy it is - Fredricks are good for about 3 inches).
I should try that, but I'm that far away from my *current* size, if that makes sense?

It makes sense, assuming I mean the same thing you do. I'm thinking that you're referring to your current clothing size vs. your size in that dress.
Do you think that dress would lend itself to an actual corset? I'm concerned I might have to use something ... not as generous. (I suppose I'll see on Saturday...)
corsets give you a LOT of support, but under the wrong dress, they could show through (or worse, do nothing but poke and prod). that's what i'm afraid of, because the bodice of the dress is also corset-shaped.
Your neck has reduced? Dang, nice! But I'm surprised you noticed. Not many people measure their necks. If they did, someone would make a fortune selling special necxercisers.
What's the dress you're trying on? I'm not seeing a link!
Actually, it was recommended on SparkPeople as a measurement to track. So it's really all their fault. Apparently, neck measurement is a somewhat decent indicator of overall health -- although they don't give an explanation of how or why, or what an "ideal" neck size should be.
Check this entry for a link to the dress (I don't want Chris to see it!).
