I thought everybody had eaten this! I've sort of eaten the dish, in that I've scraped off all the marshmallow and eaten the sweet potato part. I don't think that really counts, though.

I dunno! maybe mashed or something? But Kaille had never, ever heard of it, and my friend Liz in Australia hadn't either. I mean, it was one thing when it's your aussie friend!

In my family, we used to just bake sweet potatoes and serve them like that. I found a recipe seven or eight years ago for thyme-roasted root vegetables that uses sweet potatoes, and I've made that a few times. And one of my friends was telling me this year about a recipe for garlic mashed sweet potatoes that sounded amazing; I'm going to try that for Chrismukkah, I think.
