I sort of like we never do see what goes down between Vayne and the Emperor, but you're inclined to think... yeah, they were perfectly agreed on how that went down.

... also the cutscene that came after is basically what made me decide on my big fat judge OTP. Because for a death scene that was possibly one of the most horribly romantic things I've ever seen. (p.s. drace is hot. and a buncha other stuff mentions she's the judge responsible for Larsa's education and upbringing, so I sort of attribute a lot of Larsa's poise to her and Gabranth's influence. HIS FAKE GAY UNCLES.)

basically i've decided that they'd obviously been political allies and political allies (winkwinknudgenudge) for like years with their main common goal being their young prince who probably TOTALLY set them up in the first place and waaaaah. ._.

...we don't see Larsa's reaction, no. Which is a shame, although probably a mercy too since I suspect Gabranth's probably the one who had to tell him and that had to have sucked for them both.

I JUST got to the Vayne/Senate/JudgeChick scene. I agree that Larsa's reaction killed my heart a little bit. Gah!

And dude, Al-Cid is so completely fantastically gay and Mexican-accented. Or Hispanic. Whichever. I'm in California so.. I don't know. Seriously though, I love all the pimpin' dudes in this game.

Are you sure that Vayne and the Emperor were in cahoots about the Emperor's death to frame the Senate? I kinda think Vayne did that on his own when it became clear the Senate wanted his death so they could use Larsa as their puppet and his father was powerless to stop that. ;_;
