Conclusion after finishing up Lesbo Village and also givng up at ten pm after being assraped by dragons (unless it was the werewolf type critters?) in the Stillshrine of Marian: House Solidor is crazy in the head.
So basically Vayne and their dad are having this huge convoluted discussion about how Vayne doesn't want Larsa's hands stained with blood, and that his hands are already so strained that it doesn't matter about him any more, and then the next thing you know the Senate is being marched out in cuffs for conspiracy in the death of the Emperor by poison.
I just. holy shit. I'm sure there's some specifically crazy in the head on Vayne's part that I'm not getting, but they basically plotted for the Emperor to die by poison (he probably agreed, the coughing thing he had going could have been only more obvious had his hands come away from his mouth stained with blood) so they could get rid of the Senate? And the way Vayne and their dad were talking, it is basically so Larsa can become Emperor?
