I'm not whirly, but I think the spirit of the deal is two per month. It's about lifestyle enhancement, not about fulfilling obligations.

Congrats on the success!

Congratulations!

Crock pots actually scare me a little. The idea of leaving the food cooking for so long leaves me slightly paranoid that it will be overcooked ...or undercooked if it *really* does take that long.

I vote that you should count each recipe separate. If you take the time to make your own noodles and sauce from scracth - 2 recipes to make one meal *nod*.

There's also the irrational fear of setting your house on fire with a faulty crockpot :-)

I've only seen one instance where someone runied a pot roast in a crockpot but i am utterly convinced that it was user error - she's not that good of a cook and is definitely not detail oriented.

Threw it in frozen perhaps?

I really should get a crockpot - just for having the option of making such things.

yeah, you just have to hope you have a good recipe and go into each crock pot exerience as though it's an experiment. test it before it should be done, when it should be done, and if it's not done, you just keep it cooking. :)

i like that idea, two recipes for one meal. so if i make a bunch of different things they can count for the month, just not for the next month.

Yeah, jhazen nailed it - it's two per month because it's lifestyle enhancement :-) HEEHEE
