(If you're completely unfamiliar with the latter, a) it's hilarious, and b) the main character basically is a pre-adolescent Rodney: a super-smart, snarky little misanthrope with a hidden sweet side. Which makes it perfect for a fusion/AU ...)

Ten-year-old Meredith Rodney is the smartest person on the planet, though his ego and ambition tend to lead to his inventions (time travel, teleportation, etc.) going horribly awry. The only people who are aware he's not just a rather odd but basically normal kid are some of the neighbors' kids (particularly John, the daredevil kid next door) and Rodney's equally bright toddler sister.
