I've written book!
Ok, so my last LJ entry was waaaaay back in 2011. And the one before THAT was 2010... So... I've not been around for a while. I got a nudge today from tea_and_trees which is SO funny, because I was just reading an old post and some comments from her this week... Funny! I guess in a manner of speaking, I've almost abandoned LJ lately, but really, I just moved everything over to a WordPress and have started blogging through there. I'm hoping to hear today about a kitchen we can use for the baking gig. We got our first official order for cakes for next week, so I'm pretty stoked. I actually have to get more spring-form pans to accommodate the order ( Read more... ) -
So much to do...
Well, it' not even 10 AM and I've already gotten much accomplished... or at least underway. I finally decided to bust out of avoidance mode and tackle my kitchen. One load if dishes is in the wash, and another shall soon follow. Big on the priority list is to sort and chuck, and sweep and mop that floor ( Read more... ) -
The Sweet Life
Last Monday, my Doctor told me to go gluten free for a month and to cut out all sugar. It's something I've been struggling with for a while now, but we are trying to get my hormones (especially my thyroid) in order, plus Ella has some kind of sensitivity, and we need to isolate it ( Read more... ) -

I had been wondering for a while now why I was so sore and tired, and it wasn't making sense that despite the fact that I've been nursing full time for the last nine months that I should be gaining weight, but a simple blood test revealed the issue: my thyroid is pretty messed up ( Read more... ) -
