The tone of this post probably came off wrong. I don't think strippers are automatically idiots or have anything against stripping and sex work, and frankly think society needs to lose a lot of its' hangups about it, but going to a strip joint for commentary on the community center?? No comprende. o_O

Why not talk to, oh...I dunno...American Muslims? Or go to one of the churches that's already literally AT ground zero to get perspectives on religious freedom? Or better still - Masjid Manhattan.
