I KNOW IT SOUNDS IRONIC, BUT RAMADAN IS SERIOUSLY A FOODIE HOLIDAY OMG.
I try not to eat in front of my Muslim friends during the month, though. I'll be as sneaky as I can in grabbing bits to munch, and wait to actually eat it until they're out of the room.
What's even better is Eid ul-Fitr. In the 10 years I've been more or less part of the Muslim community, I've yet to make it through a single one without being completely stuffed. O_O;;
