OMG the creys! I have people coming over shorty and I'm bawling my eyes out. All I'm going to be able to do is flail wildly and points at my computer. In all seriousness- I was in tears before Kurt finished fixing Lily's hair. Then Burt had to go and be AMAZING, and I was totally gone. The ceremony was beautiful and the vows were great... I loved how you added little bits of their past and habits to make them more personal. The only part that really didn't set right with me was the song at the end... it seemed a little of of place, but that could just be me. The whole 'Light' 'verse is wonderful, and I'm really loving that we get to watch Lily grow up and see the Anderson-Hummels (hurray!) as they go through life together. I can't wait to see the next parts- I'm sure they'll be equally as amazing!!

So, explanation for "You and I" at the end:
I know it doesn't really fit with the mood of the rest of the wedding ceremony, like it's too light or something. But I usually write at least a little from personal experience, and I was kind of drawing from my own wedding here - after that last announcement of you and your spouse as a married couple, with a shared last name ... there's really no way to describe it. I was giddy. I floated back down the aisle with the most ridiculous grin on my face ... and I wanted to capture that feeling of sheer and utter JOY with a more lighthearted song. If that makes sense at all...
