This was just lovely. You captured the loneliness and confusion of war and its aftermath with a simple honesty. And it felt so... real. The end was perfect, too.

Oh my, this was gorgeous! It was just the right length, too (although I don't care about the length, as long as it's written well ;)). You wrote both their characters perfectly, and I liked this glimpse into their everyday lives after the war, and how they were coping. It felt very real. Thanks for sharing :) You should post this at nevillexhannah if you haven't already ;)
