He makes non-appreciative noises when women gush over their Mother's Day gifts or co-workers blather about presents given to their mothers.

He redirects questions regarding his mother, his gifts to her, and her whereabouts. To bolder inquirers, he just shrugs and says she's ( Read more... )

I really like the title, too (didn't mention that yet, did I? ::frowns at self::).

Along with all the rest. :-)

I looked up the definition of monster and saw it would work nicely.
Thanks for the review.

yeah, If Blair knew he felt this way he'd be on the case.
Glad you liked it and I hope you had a nice time on your weekend away. I was so snowed under when you posted about your trip, that I didn't have time to wish you a great time.

I did enjoy it, thanks. =>}

Our weekend was good. Now I'm all exhausted again. We're getting a new fridge, stove, washer, dryer, basement freezer and microwave today. I've spent two weeks cleaning the basement to make room for the taking out of the old and the putting back of the new. Hard, heavy work after 31 years of accumulation here! =>}

This morning, I had to empty out our large freezer and then the fridge. Luckily my sister and neice were here overnight and were able to help me to empty the freezer. It was a much bigger job than I thought it would be!

SO not looking forward to putting everything back, but I'm tossing a ton of stuff from the bottom of the freezer and the back of the fridge, so it shouldn't be QUITE as bad as taking it out.

But even if I'm exhausted, I'm very excited about the new appliances!!! They're supposed to come before noon. It's 10:20 and I hope they don't wait until the last minute, with all the stuff out of the freezer and fridge!!!

Wow, what a makeover.
My New Years Resolution was to use up more stuff from the freezer, that I froze from past year's gardens. Not doing as well as I hoped. As a matter of fact, thinking about it, I guess I'll look through and see what I can get out for supper tonite.
