HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, SWEETIE!

I hope your day is fun and lighthearted, with lots of decadent trimmings. Baby, you're the best!!

I took your email of frustration the other day and uh, borrowed part of it for your birthday present.

Back later, or via email, will get talky (about this and other stuff), but THANK YOU!!! meanwhile. A wonderful silver lining to the cloud of oup. Which I can laugh about now (here) -- purely thanks to you, and Blair (and I really liked that 'a' Blair's keyboard gets ried, a whole eck of a lot :-)).

Smooshes you hugely.

Can I have this Jim, offering me pizza and b-ball (and bearing keyboards)? Pretty please?

And beer. Can't forget the brew of the gods.

Sure, take him along. He's a good guy to handle rescue missions.

And I was wondering what to write for your birthday and then the story just dropped in my lap. I am glad, though, that you got your hands on a better keyboard. Did you hurl the other one across the room?

Hey, you're on CL!
This was SO clever! Loved the idea and the message was hysterical. My last keyboard moulted and I lost some keys - result, sheer frustration. Thanks for the grin.

Hey, you're on CL!

Since there's been a push to showcase gen stories, I thought it was time I got around to posting links to mine from there. I'm glad you enjoyed the story; it seems quite a few people have had mishaps with their keyboard from the comments. T, the poor lamb, sent me the most pitiful email which had letters missing and since I wanted to write her a birthday story, I copied some of her email and fleshed it out.

Thanks for reading and commenting,

Laurie

That's really cute. But as a note, it's FAFSA, not FASFA. Unless Jim's not expected to know the difference, having been out of school for a while. Which is always possible. I've just had to fill out too many in recent years.

Gotta love that edit button for LJ posts. Thanks for catching my typo. In real life, I constantly trip over my tongue with saying the FAFSA, so I'm not surprised that I mangled it here, too.

Glad you enjoyed the story,

Thanks for reading and commenting,

Laurie
