I keep running my finger over the area of my back where they put the epidural in....and the tiny band-aid they covered it with in the OR. -
Spring
It's always so nice outside nowadays. I feel like it should be this way year round.
I think this is the only weather I can associate home and adolescence with. -

Fibula
Hey Everyone - So I'm going in for surgery tomorrow to operate on my fibula (I broke it when I slipped on some ice talking to a grad student) and will probably be out of it for most of Friday. I was in Yoga today, and one of the girls that's taking the class comes up to me and says:
"You're nice, and very normal."
This has been the best compliment I have received all day. -

so my friend on my hall just applied to be a French interpreter at the hosptial...
"Mon fils a juste eu une chirurgie sur sa vésicule biliaire il y a deux mois et est maintenant sur le medication;"
