My first big project of the year-making 75% of the yard escape proof- has made my dogs very very happy, although some plants are less so. They get to go out and run around together without the drag of the cable-run on Griz.

The added benefit for me is that Griz used to charge out to the end of his leash and then bark at the cattle: now there is no sudden resistance to cue the bark, and he's not yet learned to bark without the brake.

Julia, anything which reduces noise is my friend

Oh, I wish that the miniature pinscher who lives next door and the two big dogs who live behind me would stop barking whenever the Blonde Dog and I go out the backdoor -- your noise reduction deserves applause! (As well as your big project, of course.)

Happy Saturday!

The Blonde Dog thanks you, and is ready to go back out NOW. :-)

(There were only three gardenia plants out at my local Lowe's, almost lost in a sea of hibiscus. I grabbed one almost indecently quickly.)

Happy Saturday!
