I hope that you and yours weren't washed away in yesterday's rain -- but I am glad that reservoirs are getting what they need, and will get more with snowmelt!
One of the books I just started is "On the Wilder Shores of Love" a memoir/bio of Lesley Blanch. I loved "The Wilder Shores of Love" when I read it a million years ago, so I'm hoping for good things.
I just googled Lesley Blanch -- oh my goodness! What a life! I hope the reread pleases. :)
I'm zipping through Gaiman's Norse Mythology at the moment. It's going really fast because, let me be honest, I'm imagining Hemsworth as Thor and Hiddleston as Loki. (But Ian McShane as Odin.)
Good for you completing the dreaded work-task. I have one of those that I planned to do this week, but I got in this morning and found we're doing an office shuffle and now I have to clean and move down the hall a few doors. And I'd rather move than do the other task :)

Cheers and hugs and drier days for you, Gwynne.

My happy things? Rain (maybe not all at once, though), and Emily's photos of baby harbor seals, all cute and spotty.

We're headed into azalea season too, which I also love--but a month early? That can't be good..
But hope all your days are full of goodies.
