The medicine cabinet is both interesting and disturbing. I would have never thought people would do that.

(I can't wait for more Endeavour)

Re the medicine cabinet: I know! Who possibly could have come up with something so macabre?

And yay Endeavour, and yay you! Happy Thursday. :)

That thing with the razor blades is bizarre. It seems like it could be used in a horror story of some sort!

Right. Something that lives in the walls and slices its way out...

Oh, the madness and chaos of renovation! And the glory that will be!

Hope you'll tell us all about your new tiles and fixtures.

It's going to be SO NICE to have a proper bathroom again. (It's needed rehab for at least ten years.)

The wall tiles around the bathtub (a subway tile) and the floor tiles (a honeycomb) will look a lot like this. But my bathroom is tinier and I won't have any unpainted wood. :)

Cheers for your day!

Oh, how lovely! And great to have all white with a little black. You have lots of choices with adding any color towels, etc., or keeping white. I really like the floor.

Ooh, my brother and his partner just finished their bath reno in very much the same style. Hoping to stop by on the way home from Comic-con to see the final product!

Reno is so much better in retrospect....

I had to go check my medicine cabinet and it does have that little slit. I've seen it for years, but it never occurred to me it had a reason.

The combination of a jackhammer and The Dangerous One is beyond my ability to imagine.

I recently saw the first season of Endeavour and liked it very much. Am also enjoying Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, somewhat to my surprise. The current book is Samuel Butler's The Way of All Flesh, again- surprisingly enjoyable (So far- I'm only 50 pages in and there's a long way to go.)

The new bathroom will be beautiful.

You probably have razor blades in YOUR wall, too!

The Dangerous One is in his crate for most of the construction time. He does not approve.

Yay for Endeavour! And I should probably watch Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, since I've heard other good things about it.

Hugs hugs hugs, S!

Hugs.

Miscellanea: I've seen those little slots for razor blades, and yeah, ewww.

Sounds like progress is being made, yay!

Beware, it's far too easy to get sucked into planners and planner supplies and planner charms and dashboards and all that madness. But also, fun.

Any particular format you're thinking of? There are too many choices out there, and Pinterest on planners is quite the time sink. I have a 6-ring personal size planner, the day runner/filofax sort, which I am sticking with. But I rather fancy the look of those disc binders, too. I am too easily distracted by the planning, as it were, and lose sight of the actual project.

I have to write things down, especially as Yahoo isn't good about sending my reminders at the moment, curse them. So there's the planner, the wall calendar in the kitchen, and sometimes sticky notes all over the place.

The razor-blades thing is just... NO.

I have a tattered Day Runner planner now. I like the functionality of being able to replace the pages rather than the binder every year, and I like the address book etc, but I'm tempted by the kind of Passion Planner with pages allows for more mindful attention to goals and to multiple projects, and I'm also tempted by a new, prettier binder -- which doesn't work with the Passion Planner stuff I've seen. Alas!

Hugs hugs, A, and a good Friday.
