35 Things for the 35th post this year:
1) Bathroom renovation has begun and continues, albeit slightly slowly.
2) Master Danger is READY FOR IT TO BE OVER, bless him.
3) And I am looking very much forward to the new space and new vibe.
4) Here's an interesting thing I'd never known -- medicine cabinets used to have a small slot for throwing used razor blades into the wall.
5) There were 70 razor blades in the wall behind my sink. (!)
6) "I just can't think that's sanitary," said M, my bathroom remodeler. "It's just... nasty."
7) I concur with M's opinion.
8) My kitchen counters and table, meanwhile, are piled high with my grandmother's china, my grandmothers' (plural) tea cups, and my wine-and-Champagne glassware.
9) M feels that the jackhammer he's using on the old tile might shatter these precious objects, and so they're moved out of the cabinets and shelving on the adjoining wall.
10) I concur with his opinion here, too.
11) Makes it impossible to repaint the kitchen cabinets at the moment, of course.
12) Which might not be too bad a thing. ;)
13) I'm finding construction dust everywhere, even though M is actually very tidy and conscientious about clearing up after himself.

15) Also it's been hideously hideously hideously hot, humid, and yet rain-free at my house.
16) No. That's my stance.
17) Where is the subtropical summer rain? It's basically going elsewhere in the surrounding countryside.

20) Read Lois McMaster Bujold's Penric and the Shaman, a novella set in the 5 Gods 'verse, and enjoyed it.
21) Watched the last episode of this series of Endeavour and enjoyed it.
22) Ah, Baby Morse, I love you dearly.
23) There are stacks of books and lists of television programs and movies I in theory want to watch now.
24) This is only a theory, as yet unproven.
25) Am writing and working most days.
26) Am also contemplating a new planner.
27) I still like paper, to be honest. I like writing down appointments and plans and goals.
28) Any recommendations?
29) In conclusion, I am falling into shelter magazines and blogs like a plummeting thing plummeting fast.
30) Soon, soon, the madness will pass.
