1. Have successfully hooked Sandra (roommate) on Veronica Mars. Mission to get her desperate enough to split the cost of getting digital cable for UPN is half accomplished. 2. Classes start tomorrow! I can't believe I'm so dorkily excited, omg. It's been too long. I'm sure in liek two weeks I'll bge all "OMG I HATE SCHOOL!!!" but, still. Have some exciting ones, too. I'll write more about them after I've gone.

Famous Blue Raincoat by Leonard Cohen is an all-time fave, and Tori Amos does a really pretty cover. (But listen to the Cohen, if you haven't, there's just this perfect, haunting backing vocal and it lifts and lulls and just close your eyes and listen because that song fucking HURTS. Wow. I'm a geek.)

Jonny Lang--Breakin' Me. I cried when I first heard this song, and it has been on repeat for me for two and a half months now. OMG.

Elliott Smith--Twilight. Which, I just started listening to his music and wow, like it's break your heart good.

Also, I have Tori covering Famous Blue Raincoat, should that be needed. (Cause, hi. Tori. Also, I love that song too.)
