your signal's getting weak
1. Have successfully hooked Sandra (roommate) on Veronica Mars. Mission to get her desperate enough to split the cost of getting digital cable for UPN is half accomplished. Weirdly, she figured out whose car was at the Camelot Motel as soon as Keith said he'd drop the case. I was impresed, I was always shocked by that part. Other than that comment she said NOTHING during the entire Pilot and I was preparing my "I know there's a lot to the first episode and I swear they're not all as packed with information so you should try a few more..." etc. speech but as soon as the Pilot finished she said "Start the next one!" Am extremely excited by this!
2. Classes start tomorrow! I can't believe I'm so dorkily excited, omg. It's been too long. I'm sure in liek two weeks I'll bge all "OMG I HATE SCHOOL!!!" but, still. Have some exciting ones, too. I'll write more about them after I've gone.
3. My OSAP will hopefully arrive in my bank account any day now and I can stop being ridiculously poor. Here's hoping.
4. Walked around campus with unhappyending earlier. The poster sale is all set up for tomorrow and OMG the prices are SO MUCH BETTER than other years. Plus they have The Breakfast Club! and Garden State! I'm going to spend WAY too much money there when i get my OSAP, I can feel it. *headdesk*
5. My mom called today. My dad fell down (drunk) and tore the tendon between his collarbone and shoulder or something and is seeing a surgeon tomorrow. Is apparently in excruciating pain or something but I can't really bring myself to care too much. Meh.
6. Roommates (Sandra and Tiffany) are nice. I knew Sandra and we get along great. Similar interests and fannish tendancies and such. Tiffany seems more... well, more popular than either of us. She's really tall and pretty and wears too much makeup. She's compute rilliterate and I've had to help her like six times already but I don't mind. She's nice enough, so as long as she doesn't become bitchy I shouldn't have any issue. We'll see ^^
7. I've forgotten how much I liked it in Waterloo. There's just an energy about this town... I dunno how to explain it. I love it here.
8. and finally, a meme: I want to have a complete soundtrack with one song from each of my friends. I'm going to upload them to my ipod [okay, so I don't have an ipod, but I'll make it a playist on the computer?] and make a "Flist Soundtrack" playlist with notes of what songs belongs to who. Pick one song you want me to associate with you, then comment and send it to me (via yousendit, for example). It can be your favorite song in the whole world, a recent favorite or just a song that you think really identifies you.
