I thought that might be a little confusing, so let me clarify,
This means that only you suck. Nobody's perfect but when you make a mistake you have to make up for it. In Laura's case the professional thing to do would have been to let her sing in the finals anyways. If you rescind a decision with a football team the stress from the change of mind is spread throughout the whole team, but in the case of a soloist competition Laura takes the full amount of stress, which is what should be happening with the judge. Laura ends up getting porked no matter who's mistake this was and that's not fair.
You're right I don't know you, but after you posting a comment like that to your "friend" I don't think I want to. There are certain situations you shouldn't be so matter-of-fact about things, and this was one of them. I'm always pushing the line myself, but you gotta know when not to, like now.

As a southern hottie, I would like to say that you need to get a life. If your top concern is telling off Laura, then you need to get laid as soon as possible. However, I can tell by your immaturity that you are a virgin and probably will not be laid before you are thirty. I'm sorry about what happened yesterday, but I personally would have posted this "venting" without all of the four letter words. There is, however, an eight letter word to collectively describe the geniuses who computed the scores: BONEHEAD. I have to wonder who paid them off, and how much? Maybe it's the same French idiots (oops, that's redundant!) who fixed the Olympic figure skating results three years ago.
And, I think you know who this is. :-)

it's not like no one has ever heard me spew off like that when i'm angry... so i've got a dirty mouth?? i've been working on it for awhile, but as i told my mother (who lectured me on this same subject) i can handle my own language.

It's Marissa. I just wanted to say I'm really sorry to hear about the results getting all messed up like that....very very unprofessional (but what are we to expect with NATS anyway, right?). The only other thing I have to say is be grateful you have the gorgeous voice you do and no silly NATS competition can prove otherwise :) (In the words of the great Prof. Hofmann after NONE of her students made finals this year: "Sometimes these things just aren't a reflection of REALITY"...hehe just imagine it with her great big resonating mezzo voice...hehe) Anyways, I'm stuck here in my apartment...sick as all get out (mostly sick of being sick!) with mono...be VERY happy you don't have it! :) But most of all...I love you and think you're wonderful :) Take care darling!
