I meant to post this sooner.

This last Saturday, I went to work as usual at Yankee Candle at Lakeside Mall. When I arrived, I had a little company...to say the least. IT was really scary though. Those birds are really damn big and I bet if it wanted to, it could do a fair amount of damage before I could grab its neck and snap it. I'm such a humanitarian.

But seriously, I added this to my memories. So now, in like 2 years, when I'm having a bad day, I can go back and read this and still make myself smile at the memory.

P.S. I think what makes me laugh the most is thinking about the reactions of the people around. To me, that is funnier than the actual actions of the bird itself!

I would never actually kill your bird...no matter what Ryan Romanik tries to tell you! I wouldn't even get within 5 feet of the thing unless dared, and even then I would probably run away screaming in terror.

I'm going to vomit. I said I would kill the bird, that still doesn't mean that I want to eat it. Besides, they don't serve a whole lot of GOOSE around these parts.

Likely it was nesting. I saw a whole slew (OK, so they don't come in "slews," but whatever ;) on the median of Michigan Ave just today. I've never been afraid of animals - big barking dogs, etc. BUT, I'm pretty scared of Canadian Geese. Those beaks are serrated!

Anyhoo, wandered over here from the cornsnakes list and noticed that you're feeding hoppers to your snake AND that you live near me. I bought FAR too many mice from a frozen dealer and was wondering if you'd like to meet me in Southfield and take some hoppers off my hands. I bought them here for $35/100. I'm willing to sell you as many as you want for what I paid for them, as long as that covers roundtrip gasoline... It says "fuzzies," but they're big. I can send pictures.
