Wedding fever. Uh-oh.

Today I bought my very first bridal/wedding-related magazine. I was never the girl who grew up planning her dream wedding. Ever. I'm still not. Ask me what I want my colors to be, and I can't answer. Who I want to be my bridesmaids? Haven't thought much about it. What season? Not sure. (though I've narrowed it down to two) I look at bridal

Yes, but you're a year older! - :) - Nonetheless. And I think you're the first Pisces I met who I think really fits the sign, too. I don't believe in astrology, really, but I think we both fit our descriptions well. - :)

Ohhh! The big 21! I can't wait to turn 21. I'll be 20 in about 18 days so I have a whole year to wait. It'll be when going out to dinner to get a drink, ya know. I'm not looking forward to being 21 to get drunk, just the nice drink at dinner. It's the small things in life. - :) So, what ya got planned for the big day?

Yeah - I see myself getting a little tipsy on my birthday, but I don't think I'll ever have it in me to get drunk/completely wasted. I get giggly enough with one drink in me. - ;)

A few of us are going to The Works. The upstairs/bar part, of course. It should be fun.

that's so crazy! today i also bought my first bridal magazine!! i've been browsing the net here and there and pick up a few magazines lately... but today i finally committed to it ha ha. i'm in the same boat as you... i'm clueless when it comes to weddings. :)

i'm not sure if you read my lj anymore but michael and i got married in october. we just did it a the jp which wasn't my ideal setting but it was just him and i. we eloped heheh. and it was perfect.

we plan to have the big deal in about two years but hopefully sooner. it's so exciting but stressful, of course, planning one!

are you two in talks about getting married soon?

Jarrod's dad owes him thousands of dollars, which he'll hopefully get once the house he's looking to sell (he's a realtor) sells...springtime, we're hoping. He said as soon as he gets the money that his dad owes him, he's not wasting any time in buying a ring. - :) - He reminds me of that at LEAST once a week. - ;)

I just read on ONTD that it's not true. That's good. Though, of all the characters, she'd be the one I'd be able to deal with leaving most...LOL - She just annoys me anymore.

don't go to the knot.com- youll be forever changed! and confused!!!!! and dont feel bad- when i thought i was marrying *ahem* someone else i had a completely different wedding planned in my head. even when i was with matt thinking about it, i had all these plans- when i had to sit down and do it, it completely changed. mostly b/c i wanted it to be about US. so, long and short- get ahead by coming to terms with how much work it is, accept that it will be a second full time job for a year or so, and look at things you like so you have an idea when it comes down to it. don't go too crazy yet!

Oh, I'm plenty guilty of checking out theknot.com. So, okay, I may have LOOKED a little. Hehe. The book I got is The Knot's book for spring/summer 2007, actually. Jarrod's like, "That's a HUGE book!" - :) - I guess I kind of see that it would change one you are actually doing it, which may be why I'm just not bothering now. I mean, I've looked, of course, but I have no idea what it is I want exactly. - :)
