So, your life's terrible. Blah, blah, blah. You don't need to find yourself, you already know who you are. Now you need to concentrate on controlling your emotions. You're old enough to act like an adult, and you're right about college people not putting up with a bad attitude. The best way to get control of your emotions is to find something that you enjoy doing that relaxes you (and has nothing to do with school or cooking). Play pool, draw, read, write your thoughts down (poetry, journal, internet, paper, it doesn't matter), separate yourself from whom or what ever is leaving you in the emotional uproar, and last but not least chill. Also, if you value Joe as a friend then stop talking to him so much for a while. You need the space so that you can get over him. And even if he can put up with your "shit" now, in the future if problems continue he may get sick of it. If you want to save your future friendship with him, get your emotions under control before you start hanging out again (whether it takes a week or a month or
