Return to Lismore

Got a shock today when I went to the Countrylink office and checked on fares to Lismore. The quotes for a return trip to Lismore are:

Pension:
       1st Class - $42.54
       Economy   $30.80

Concession
       1st Class - $141.80
       Economy   $102.60

I'd be travelling on the pension rate, and Carol on the Concession rate as she's from interstate

Very nice! I assume you'll be taking the XPT? I went on it once back in 1992...it was alright from memory...though certainly not up to the standard of Queensland Rail trains....though I imagine it'd be much better now.
