I was I believe "hooked" at page 2 (and I'm eagerly awaiting the first opportunity to quite appropriately exclaim:I'll. Be. Majumdered. Or possibly not. But it reminds me somehow of Fantastic Planet... the matter-of-fact presentation of the not-quite-mundane (the green door-thingy, the blue sky below, buildings that could be leaping rocket ships or characters themselves). Beautifully restrained and self-integrated (unlike this appreciation, obviously): Dali would grin, and Escher would be furtively scribbling away.
