This year's Summer is boring into my creative productivity. Saturday was horrible, hot and energy draining. I saw Paranorman at Glendale cinema mostly to sit in an air conditioned room for a while. It was better than expected, but coming out of the cinema afterwards (right next to the bus stop) I was hit by a wall of heat. Rather than wait there

hmmmm. actually it's been cool today.

We had hideous heat yesterday and the day before. Didn't get the cool change through until about 6pm yesterday and then it was wonderful. We got a tiny bit of rain at night but it's all dry again until next weekend.
Today was lovely and cool. 23 right now. I managed to get the first decent nights sleep in ages. Back up to hot again after tomorrow so we're going to try and get stuff done today. Get to the post office and the tip and get more housework done.
It's been a really bad summer for it. The past two years we've only had about a week of nasty weather all summer. This time it's been 2 weeks already
