Been working on my web comic, trying to use some 3-D modelling applications.

Ended up using something called "Expert Home Design" which is something I bought seven years ago! I was going to use Blender, but I needed to get an image out quicker than I could learn it, so I used the above program instead. Basically, I built a house that just happened ( Read more... )

My Laura has been making wonderfull fantasy scenes in Daz studio.
You might want to try it. Much quicker than blender.

Well I looked at teh system requirements page and they are:

  • Pentium® III /AMD Athlon Processor running at 700 MHz (NO - I only have a 233 MHz Pentium)
    • Windows 98® SE or above CHECK
  • 128 MB RAM (If running Windows 98 or ME) CHECK
  • 50MB free hard drive space for installation (For installation of the free content bundle, we recommend that you have 350 MB of free harddrive space) CHECK
  • OpenGL compatible graphics card with at least 128 MB of onboard MAYBE

Laura has used hexagon to go between daz and blender. It can convert
Daz to Alias Wavefront format, which blender can read.

Well I've downloaded DAZ but haven't installed it yet.

I can't run Hexagon because I only have WIN 98SE.
