Laura, Lee and New Caprica

I can't remember if I'm supposed to be posting today, or whether plaid_slytherin is, so you might get two for the price of one!

I thought, maybe, we'd chat today about New Caprica, that wonderful sandbox that RDM and co gave us to play with.
Supposing Laura and Lee were in a relationship when New Caprica was discovered:
# Do you think it would have changed Laura's attempt to steal the election, and the outcome of that?
# Where would they have lived? New Caprica? On Pegasus? Separately, the way they do in canon?
# How would they have occupied themselves during the missing year?
# How differently do you think things might have been when the cylons returned, depending on your thoughts about where they would be? Would Laura have reacted differently? Would Lee?
# How do you think it might have changed their feelings afterwards, towards each other, towards the fleet at large, and towards the cylons, if at all?
If anything inspires you to write fic, so much the better!
