He'd brought the box back to Ellie's domain in a daze. His mind should be on the job ahead and he knows it but the encounter with Zee in the cemetary has left him shell shocked. He's never wanted to have kids, the Constantine legacy was supposed to end with him. Only now Gemma's embraced the mystic world, he had a daughter with the swamp thing

Upon Constantine's arrival in Hell a host of demons soldiers quickly arrive to attend him. It is clear that they are conflicted over having to abase themselves before this mortal no matter what flows in his veins, but serve they do.

Bristling with weapons and armor, they form an impressive phalanx around Constantine as he aproaches the castle. Chantinelle must have dispatched even the castle guard to create such an entourage. On lookers, both demons and damned, cannot but notice their passing and soon whispers and guesses begin to fly regarding The Constantine and the mysterious box he bears.

He says nothing, just smirks a bit at the fact they have to guard him even though they hate him. The box is obviously carried but not displayed too openly.

And when one of the guards mistakenly offers to carry it he is reprimanded with a snarl.

"Let you carry it? I bloody well think not you brainless wanker."
