Ah. I see. Perhaps the timing of the holiday is different here. In Vienna, we celebrate Christmas on the sixth of December, you see.

Maybe you should ask for a calendar for Christmas, pal.

I am well aware of the date. Christmas was three days ago.

Well, considering that I first arrived here from late 1700s Vienna, that would seem to explain things.

...But I was just told that Christmas is on the 25th of December. What has you so busy, Master Salieri?

( ooc: ....Oh god, I can't tag this guy without thinking of that Family Guy episode now. XD )

((OOC: Hurr hurr, funny you should mention that.))

I have managed to sort out the confusion. Where and when I am from, Christmas is celebrated on the sixth of December. Apparently I simply had yet to fully understand the traditions of this place.

As for what has had me so busy, I have been working on composing an opera. It has regrettably been progressing more slowly than I would otherwise prefer.

( ooc: Brb, dying. )

That must be so strange for you. I had never heard of Christmas before I came to Mayfield, but I'm really looking forward to getting to celebrate it.

...You're composing an entire opera on your own? That's incredible!

"Of course. Composing operas is what I do for a living, after all. I believe we have actually spoken of this previously. Your Majesty Queen Garnet of Alexandria, was it?"
