"Dammit Sam!" John Winchester barked, dropping his rifle to the ground and pulling the handgun from the back of his pants. "Dean!" He called out, waiting for the faint reply before giving chase through the woods after the thing

Dean nodded. "C'mon." He turned so the wound was closer to Sam and forced himself not to look away in case he needed to offer advice or a steadying hand

Dean nodded. "Good work Sammy." He rolled onto his back, the pain almost over. "Now pass me those pills." He held out his hand and waited, the jingle of the bottle reassuring

Awwwwwww omg I totally wanna cry right now! Let me take a few seconds to catch my breath again ..!!
First of all, thank you so much for filling my prompt! You did it brilliantly and it was the best I could wish for! Really, that was a perfect fill!
You wrote the boys perfectly! I loved that Dean was all grumpy and sassy but still patient and reassuring for his brother! The way he cheered Sam with all the 'you can do it' and then 'you did good' was just absolutely wonderful to read.
I also love how you made Sam a superhero in this! He did good and I like when he gets to save the day! The part with him totally handling the penicillin shot was amazing!
And then you totally had me with the hugging and cuddling at the end.. aww :3 Dean was caring enough to let Sam jostle his fresh stitches if it meant letting his scared little brother snuggle into his side for comfort. That last line, too... killed me right there :)
Thank you sooooo much for this! That was perfect ;)

I'm glad you liked it! I actually left a chunk out by accident the first time I posted this, I've added it on now. So bonus, there's more!
Dean gets a lot of credit for raising Sam and being a BAMF kid hunter, but Sam would have been pretty resourceful/smart/strong to survive the life they grew up with. He was totally a superhero too (in my opinion)!

He was ! They both have been superheroes to each other actually. They wouldn't have made it that far w/o one another!
Oh now it makes more sense that there was a missing part. I wondered for a while but then I thought maybe that's how the story was made! Well I'm gonna check the missing part right away!!
