the fact that you have to defend and rationalize it quite possibly means that you are a drunk or getting to that point. an alcoholic doesnt have to drink everyday

and as for playing the role of mr. nice guy, DONT just be yourself and the right person will come along.

As for the whole redlands/so cal generalization, its true.. people here suck, but seriously the couple of people that you enjoy being around with are seriously the ones that make college worthwhile. I guess that means that I've grown to like so cal as much as i love it up north (I've become quite an airhead since i've come here.. just playing). But seriously i am beginning to love the things i do here and the people i have met. But again socal isnt for everyone.
