While I was thinking about doing an update on my adventures with growing things, it occurred to me that I haven't really ever used the video function on my digital camera. Water
It's been HOT lately. The high was 99 today. It's supposed to go back down to more comfortable temperatures next weekend. But it's been an unpleasant reminder that the nice 60-70 degree weather we've been having is just a short spring season, and will give way to triple digit temperatures before I know it. Today at work my flash drive started to have some problems. By the end of they I wasn't able to get it to read at all. I tried it again when I got home, but even my mac couldn't recognize the disk. ;_; I have some stuff on there that isn't backed up. I probably should have backed it up as soon as it was having issues, but I didn't think of it ( Read more... ) -
Is it bad luck to name a plant before it sprouts?
I've been really happy this week. It's sort of odd. I didn't realize how miserable I was for the past few months until this week though. I don't know what caused the change of mood, but I hope it sticks around for a bit ( Read more... ) -
No wonder I can't even do one girl push-up anymore.
Yesterday I was talking to John about exercise. It's pretty easy for him to keep up an exercise routine, but every time I start one it fizzles out after a couple weeks. I, for one, am tired of sitting on the floor.
I have a question for those of you who have managed to furnish an apartment with more than just family hand-me-down furniture. Where do you go to buy inexpensive but not terribly-falling-apart-in-three-days cheap? Since John and I have been staying in to see our movies rather than going out, our lack of a couch has become rather difficult to cope ( Read more... ) -

The days are getting longer. When I drive home from work it's no-longer completely dark.
Today it spent all day raining, then clearing up, only to rain again.
My commute was beautiful. I nearly crashed my car staring at a bit of brilliant sky peaking through a gap between a distant mountain and the clouds. ( When I got home I had to try to paint it. )
