Despite a level 2 snow emergency there was no snow day for me today. I did, however, get the be really late to work today and have none of the usual consequences (except I don't think I'll get paid for 8 hours of work today like I did yesterday, but I was able to leave before working 8 hours, and I didn't get in trouble with the boss-man). Aww... bad weather days are weird here, we could get 1/2 an inch of snow and everything is canceled, then the next day we get 5 inches of snow but since we were already 'set back' a day they don't cancel again. It's strange!

Haha, wow, thats a LOT OF SNOW. Imagining that flamingo getting nasty is pretty funny though, you should take a picture of what it looks like afterwords! Maybe it will shed it's plumage and uncover its winter feathers.
