whoa, i had forgotten all about this story.

aw, kyle and oliver...*sniff* man, i miss those two.

...and for once, i am sorry luke lost noah...but then again, it was a terrorist attack and i just have a hard time being like "MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" over that. (even if i still hate noah) ah, conflicting emotions...

i need to go back and re-read the other chapters, so i feel caught up. heh :-D

I kind of forgot about it too, lol. Okay, not really, but I put it off for much longer than I should.

I miss Kish so bad! I keep waiting for OLTL to bring them back.

It was a hard line to balance between making you feel sorry for Luke and having you just think Luke was being as Luke was, blind to Noah's faults. I wanted to give the readers conflicting emotions. I don't know if that makes any sense, I'm a little sleep deprived.

I was thinking about this story the other day and wondering when you would post again. I was really happy to see the link for this chapter earlier today, and I loved it. I watched a couple of Kish clips on YouTube (some kissing scenes and the sex/morning after stuff) but I never saw their whole story. Even though I don't know much about them, I like your version of them. Of course, I like the Luke/Reid stuff.

The Kyle/Oliver story is lovely. If you take the time to watch from about June 2009 to Dec 2009, I don't think you will find it a waste of time.

I just haven't had time to check out the whole story. I will try to find time to watch it though. I am pretty sure that one of te guys is Tim from One Tree Hill, which amuses me.

Yup, Brett Claywell played both Tim and Kyle. I had never seen OTH or Tim before seeing Claywell as Kyle. He was really marvelous as Kyle.

I had to go back and quickly read a bit of chapter 3 to remind me about this story. I thought that I recalled really liking it. I think that I remember much about Luke/Noah and Kyle/Oliver but I am fuzzy about Riley and why Reid is in Oakdale.

I really enjoy the intricacy of the storytelling. The interactions are wonderful. And I can't help loving having Kyle and Oliver in the story.

Well, Reid is in Oakdale because of Riley, but the only people who know that are Reid, Lucinda, Bob and Adam Pine (who is really someone else from another show but that's a surprise :D) Officially, however, Reid is in Oakdale to help the hospital with a little boy who has an inoperable tumor and run the neurology wing Lucinda promised him.

The rest shall be revealed in time. :D

I'm glad you like it! I was missing Kyle and Oliver something fierce when I was originally writing this fic and I just cannot wait for it/when OLTL brings them back.

Thanks for the summary! Reid is very complex in your fic, exactly how I like him. One minute he's antagonizing Luke then the next he's protectively moving him back inside. That's our Reid - crusty exterior, heart-of-gold.

Good for you for still having hope for Kish. I sent in dozens of postcards and letters in protest but I would only have hope if upper management changes.

I was just thinking about this the other day. The chapter was beautiful and I've truly missed this story.

I love how you wrote in Reid's speech about the brain and the slow process of them growing closer and realizing that they're indeed falling for each other.

It's honestly one of the most beautiful speeches I've heard on television and I had to include it! It sums up so much about Reid.
