PEOPLE ON THE STREET majorum_pride September 18 2011, 03:05:52 UTC
[Rhade's in the streets and searching for a way to get armor, now that he's seen the apparent (if inconsistent) period they're in. Certainly it would be easier if he had money, and he could. He could get it much the way he did in the space port- though Braxiatel is nowhere around to assist him.

Where is he, anyway?

Oh well. He'll just go earn it on his own. And if he finds anyone that he knows that doesn't know him, he'll try to take note of them.]

[His back is to the Wizard before he turns.] Yes, actually. I was-

[And it's the Doctor.

He stares for a moment, mid-sentence, not really sure how to continue.] I wanted to see about getting some armor. This seems like a good town to find it.

Though first I'll have to see about getting some money. [But he's sure he can manage something. He furrows his brow and clears his throat. Should he tell someone? He should probably tell someone. As soon as he gets that armor, he'll find someone to tell.]

A TOWER majorum_pride September 18 2011, 03:06:48 UTC
[There has to be at least thirty towers in this strangely laid out kingdom, and he finds himself hiding from the last man he picked a fight with (who had about a dozen friends nearby that he didn't know about) inside of one of them. Only... he can't open the door once he's waited for the sound outside to subside.

He puts down his newly acquired sword, wipes his mouth with the back of his glove, and looks up the spiralling stairs. Far up there is a room, and... there appear to be shiny things in that room.

Well, if he's going to get caught locked in someone's house, there's really only one way to do it right.

He heads up, all the way to the top, taking his helmet off halfway and carrying it under his arm. He blinks as starts pushing by cobwebs, shielding his face from thin threads and wondering just how long this place has been abandoned. He's barely at the top when he sees a woman... possibly dead? No wait, she's breathing. The sun shining in on her.

But it's a little dusty, and this place has been waiting for a while.

He ( ... )

[The strange thing was when their lips meet he experiences a weightless sensation, a warmth, all the trappings of a passionate kiss just... above the waist and to a surprising degree for that mildness. He's so wrapped up in that, that when she speaks his eyes go wide and he sits up primly, hands on his knees (and maybe squeezing the padding there a bit).]

Ah. Well, it's not common but no rudeness was meant.

[And he quickly shuffles to his feet, a hand brushing through his hair which is finding itself in an increasing state of disarray.] I thought it... might be a condit- You're awake now though. That's the important thing.

[He blames humanity for his tongue betraying him. Ignoring all other incidents where it has before.]

AND FIGHTING BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU DO majorum_pride September 18 2011, 03:07:47 UTC
[And Rhade is attempting to acquire some items for the Lady Cassandra's tower by fighting duels for prizes. Which is mostly fun for him because he misses the challenge. Though a human body? Not as efficient as he would like.]

Like this? After the fight? shortsghtedlove September 19 2011, 08:54:10 UTC
[Rassilon was gasping -- stupid human bodies and their limitations, couldn't even have enough stamina to get through a sword fight.]

[This is his third one of the morning, and a pretty good indicator that he needs some rest. Damnable human anatomy.

Only it's a touch more limited than even human. He goes to pick up his sword and has a seat where he can drink a what-he-hopes-is-beer because everything seems to be whitewashed to some degree.]

[Rassilon carelessly throws his sword away, having no need for it any more -- hopefully. Well. At least he has a present for Omega, just in case his lover is still a bit mad at him. It's a rather nice little trinket, something that should be to Omega's taste.

For now, he joins Rhade, because sword fighting is exhausting. Especially when you're a human. And haven't used a sword in ages.]

...Where did you learn to fight?

Late, ok? And did you want Omega in a thread? not_annika September 19 2011, 23:01:06 UTC
[Seven had ventured out out of curiosity. It being her first port, she was interested in how the Admiral conducted it. Was the absorption a part of a security measure? Seven was wearing a simple dress covered in a cloak, which hid her tricorder as she took scans of the area. It seemed more like a holoprogram than a reality, not quite Tom Paris' style, but Naomi Wildman would have surely appreciated it… at least when she was younger.

The woodland creatures apparently had more interest in the new technology than the locals and a bemused Seven answered their curious questions and even deigned to scan one or two of them, something which they found thrilling.]

Late is okay! And I figured maybe he could just miss Rhade? Just to not have four people in on it. majorum_pride September 19 2011, 23:27:40 UTC
[If he weren't through the pointed influence of singing animals and nonsensical reactions being inspired by the location so taken with the lovely Lady Cassandra, he probably would take more notice of Seven than very pretty.

As it is, Rhade looks fairly in place. Spiked hair, chainmail armor, a red and blue tunic over it, and boots relative to the time period. The tricorder though is recognizable as technology more like he would be familiar with.] You're from the ship? ...I'm afraid I left my journal. Could you do me a favor?

That's what I thought. Just making sure. not_annika September 20 2011, 09:39:03 UTC
[Seven straightened when he spoke. Scanning him would prove useless given that he wasn't as integrated as the others so she shut it closed.] Yes, I am. What is it?

THE REVEAL AND LATER SULKING majorum_pride September 19 2011, 02:26:26 UTC
[In compensation for the damages he inflicted to the Lady Cassandra's tower, Rhade's been adding to her collection of pretty objects. And despite every odd familiarity- and having encountered so many people immersed in the port, he still hasn't put together all those little traits she's been exhibiting that have been oddly familiar. Mostly, he's written them off in how enamored he is with her.

He thinks he's at least brought her enough that he no longer feels as though he did more harm to her... er... tower than good (even if through a fit of determination most of the damage was structural), and this last ancient statue of a dragon (brought by a travelling foreign princess as she was searching for her lost husband many decades ago). The object has history, even if it's slightly flawed and chipped from travel and moving, and that's the last bit that he brings to her.

He seeks her out enthusiastically, part of him wondering if there's any way he can avoid doors for the rest of his life in order to stay there, because he could ( ... )

[The first thing he notices is that she has a lovely voice. It's elegant, and to be hopelessly cliche also enchanting. But... Then he listens to the words.

He's nearly to her when he stops, and goes slack. He loosely lets his newest prize dangle in his hand as he watches her, and really pays attention to her features, what had been in her room, what he's been doing.

He smashes his hand over his face and runs his hand over it. Yeats. Why did it have to be Yeats? He's going to remember all of this.]

Lady Cassandra? I brought you one last gift. [He finally stands up a little more primly again, and holds the dragon out in offering.]
