Who: Wanda and open What: Wanda finally leaves her rooms after spending over a day basically hiding. Where: All Over When: Dinnertime until dawn Warnings: Angst

Wanda took a large tray of easily digested food, mostly fruits and baked goods, and headed over into the far corner to eat alone. She watched the rest of the crowd warily between bites.

To a Nietzschean, shame was a vile thing. Poisonous, and Rhade despised it to it's core. Worse was completely misplaced shame, and Wanda didn't deserve a bit of what she was feeling. She hadn't failed. She'd been stripped of choice.
So, in his weird way, this was how he was offering support. With a bit of help, without mentioning that shame that should not exist, and that bringer of shame who knew no better. After his shift, when most of the people were about to leave, he detoured over by her table on his way out. "Do you want me to bring you something to drink before I go?"

She looked up at him and reddened slightly, but finally nodded. "Cognac?" she asked hopefully, only half joking. But she managed a small smile. "Nah, I'd like a lemonade if they have them though." She had skipped her shift.

"I know someone who could get you some. But it's a drink better had with good company. I'll get you that lemonade."
He walks off, and returns shortly with a glass that he sets beside of her. He supposes she has every reason to be troubled. "The worst part about disliking this place, is sometimes I don't realize all the things that I dislike about it. I just know they feel... wrong."
Mid-Evening--On Deckscarlet_discordSeptember 6 2011, 04:37:46 UTC
Wanda knew she couldn't focus enough to meditate outside the safety of her room, but she found herself on an aimless walk on deck anyway...around and around the railing.

Eddie had his violin case in his hand - sometimes he came up to the colour garden to play, as he didn't want to disturb his neighbours too much, and had just arrived on deck. He popped his head out and spotted someone wandering around. Which wasn't unusual. He had started to fiddle with his violin when he realised she was wandering... around and around. So he couldn't help but stop what he was doing and watch. Eventually, he wandered over and asked, "Are you alright?"
Mid-Evening--On Deckscarlet_discordSeptember 6 2011, 21:17:24 UTC
She sort of noticed him watching her, but she couldn't get her feet to stop moving or her head to stop racing. Still, he had struck her as nice over the comnet, and he seemed to be asking without an agenda behind it. "I'm...you know...got a lot of thinking to do," she admitted. "Flood stuff, past stuff." The mess with Ritchie had simply been the last straw.
Re: Mid-Evening--On DeckneedshumilitySeptember 6 2011, 21:32:39 UTC
"Oh, alright. Do you... would you prefer it if I left you to it, or... well, if you need to think, I'd hate to interrupt." He smiled a little, "I hope you're alright, though. I'd help if I can."
Late Evening--Gymscarlet_discordSeptember 6 2011, 04:44:21 UTC
Wanda felt stiff; her twice daily trips to the gym had been curtailed for a day and a half and she could feel the lack. Having changed into a baggy sweatshirt and full length sweatpants, she doggedly went about her exercises, while nervously watching the door.
Late Evening--GymnotiaraincludedSeptember 6 2011, 15:51:49 UTC
The gym's near constant resident, and Wanda's workout partner was there when she arrived and he was pleased to see her outside of her room. Even though they'd talked not too long ago, the fact that he hadn't seen her was quickly causing him to worry. Had she not shown up this evening, he very likely would have been knocking on the door of her cabin later.
Late Evening--Gymscarlet_discordSeptember 6 2011, 21:24:27 UTC
She gave him a wibbly look, and for a moment he was at risk for an embarrassing Wanda-glomp. But then she forced a smile. "Couldn't stay away. I got a commitment. I just...needed some time away."

"Hey, I understand. I'm glad to have ya back."
Reaching out, he set a hand on her shoulder with a supportive smile.
"We'll go light today to get you back into the feel of it. When you come back, you'll have to make up for lost time." He had a playful grin on his face as he said that last part.

Time Lords required little sleep, and Kay kept to a 37 hour Centauri day. So it wasn't at all unusual for Narvin to be roaming the ship at three o'clock in the morning. It was usual, however, for him to see Wanda about. He walked up to where she was standing.
"Mr. Gecko won't be bothering you any more," he said quietly.

"Thank you, sir," she said softly. "I really appreciate it." She did. It wasn't just worrying about Ritchie being creepy; if she had to deal with any more public humiliation after all she had been through she was going to snap and beat someone.
But she had to ask him something. A shy glance, and she opened her mouth, closed it again. Shifted slightly.
"Narvin? I was wondering...can your technology restore memories as well?"
Wee Hours of the MorningtimesbureaucratSeptember 6 2011, 23:10:12 UTC
He cocked his head in interest. That was not the sort of question a person asked in idle curiosity.
"The device itself can only restore memories that were wiped by the device." He watched her response closely and added, "But with careful psychic manipulation, repressed memories can often be coaxed back."
